What I carry is unseen; yet, it is both physical and intangible. I carry my heart, the most delicate thing in the world. There are times when I wish I could dump it on the side of the road and let someone else deal with it. Sometimes the pain I endure is unbearable and unfair. It's like an invisible force pushing me down, forbidding me to move forward; I just stand still. However, this thing I carry allows me some of the happiest feelings in the world. Instead of holding me down, it lifts me up, as if I had no weight to bear at all. Love is something I give easily and loving others makes me happy, but having my heart broken kills me inside. I have no choice to carry my heart or not. If I did not carry it, then I would be dead, both literally and symbolically. It's impossible for me to shut people out. You know what they say; "it is better to have love and lost then to not have loved at all."
